This is just the beginning of a growing campaign to encourage the nation to hire talented foster youth. It has been shaped in its nascent stages by iFoster, TeenForce, Social Change Partners, and the Silicon Valley Children’s Fund. The campaign welcomes broad participation from other interested organizations and funders.
About the Funder
The Walter S. Johnson Foundation (WSJF) assists transition-aged foster and vulnerable youth in Northern California to become successful adults by promoting positive change to the policies and systems that serve them. WSJF partners with state and county social service agencies, post-secondary institutions, community-based organizations, and other foundations to create an integrated system of services for current and former foster youth aged 14 to 24.
